County schools’ energy savings renovations are 87 percent complete

Scott County School District started making renovations to improve building energy efficency during the first week of June last year. After seven months of renovations included in the $4.17 million energy savings performance contract (ESPC), Johnson  Control has completed 87 percent of the projects.

Mrs. Agnes T. Miley

Mrs. Mary Agnes Thomas Miley, age 93, a resident of Pulaski passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.  Visitation was held from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services were held at 2 p.m.

Announcements: We Care Missions Food Distribution dates for January, 2018 are Friday, January 12 and Friday, January 19 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at Fellowship Hall of Morton United Methodist Church, 29 Church Street.  All eligible recipients must present all required documents for each member of the household.




Service Project

Forest High School’s Technology Student Association recently held a community service project. They held a canned food drive in November. The project benefited the Carlisle Crisis Center.
