Announcements: We care Missions Food Distribution’s last date in August is Friday, August 23 from 10 a.m.-12 noon at Morton United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 29 Church Street.  All recipients of food boxes must provide proper documentation for all members of the household.

Registration for distribution is held in Fellowship Hall of Morton United Methodist Church, 29 Church Street, from 10 a.m.-12 noon. Announcements:  Morton Public Library Summer reading Programs through July will feature activities:  Tuesday- July 2-Moon Paint With Stars, Wednesday 7/3 - Movie for K-6; Library closed 7/4&5; Tuesday, 7/9 - Paper Plate Moon With Stars; Thursday, 7/11 for teens at 2 p.m.

Announcements: On June 20 Woodmen Life and the Forest Boy Scouts of America will participate in a flag retirement ceremony at Gaddis Park at 6:00 pm.  The event is open to the public and the organizers of the event would like for everyone to attend.
