On September 17, the East Ms Greys SCV Camp will have its monthly meeting, a Muster Roll Call honoring 163 volunteers from Forest that formed a militia on July 23, 1861 calling themselves East MS Greys, who on August 24, 1861 mustered into service with the Confederacy as CO K 6th MS Infantry.
