God and our well-being
Many people who live in developed nations like ours, live with well-being that has made this world a heaven, and that makes it easy for many to forget others. Many do their own will without caring about others or the environment in which they live, and they are believers who interpret free will away from what God wants from us.
Adam and Eve were the first to make use of that freedom by disobeying God the Father. That is the reason why throughout history humanity continues to do so by separating itself from the truth and love that exists in God. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death,” Proverbs 14:12 ESV “The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps. One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless. Proverbs 14: 15-16 ESV
Many people are using the social network inappropriately, especially when a pandemic is hitting us. It is clear that most of those who decide not to get vaccinated are influenced by messages that arrogantly and ignorantly ignore medical science. Curiously, they are the same ones who do not hesitate to go to the doctor when they get sick and go to the emergency rooms if they feel very bad. Due to the high contagion of the virus, in its majority in those not vaccinated, our state presents a reality that has already reached children and adolescents. Everything makes us think that we will have a very harsh winter with the pandemic. It is worrying that the political division has reached religion and is directly involved in the decisions that refuse to be vaccinated. The withdrawal and denial of a scientific truth is sad in those who should have understanding and wisdom in their life.
God the Father has always called us to love, to the understanding that we express through our faith to Jesus Christ. So Christian spirituality cannot be understood without God.
God is the mystery of light and love. When someone turns away from this light, they continue to walk in darkness where they will finally be lost without being saved. The truth that God put in the hands of scientists and doctors is not a concept, but a respect that implies a love for God, love for others and love for ourselves. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No ones comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 ESV
It is important to take care of our health, and at this moment getting vaccinated is necessary and wise. Not to be vaccinated is to refuse to believe that the good demonstrated by vaccination is something inspired by God himself to health professionals. Our communion with the Trinity must give faith in believing in the truths to which medicine has arrived. There is no doubt that this is not perfect but God knows where the medicine should go.
