True Friendship
Good Morning/Evening!
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last..and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15: 16
Someone has defined friendship as “knowing the heart of another and sharing one’s heart with another.” I agree to some degree, but a friend to me is someone I can rely on to be there for me even though we may not see or speak to each very often. There will be times when we reach out to each other and one of us are in a trial unbeknown to the other but the connection is so strong through our love for God and each other it happens when needed. I was feeling like I wasn’t doing enough to fulfill my purpose and God allowed a chance meeting with a God-fearing woman, whom I admire and have known for years. She and I talked and shared our faith in Jesus. She may not know it but she encouraged me and gave me the earthly assurance from heaven. I am not going to put her name here but I hope she reads this and knows its her and receives the appreciation I feel!! Tell someone this week that has helped you in someway, that you are thankful....
