Stay Safe and considerate
“Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalms 119:11
In Ephesians 5:15-17 God’s Word says that we are to live purposefully, using wisdom as sensible, intelligent people. Meaning we are to make the most of the time we are given; and not waste it on frivolous, petty things of no importance to the value of life. In verse 17 it tells us not to be thoughtless and foolish. In these trying days of the circumstances we are in because of this “virus” and all the personal “I thinks” some of us walk around feeling invincible and shunning people because of what we think! Let’s go on what we know, that God loves us and has commanded us to love each other. Be nice, compassionate and non-judgemental towards your fellowman!
Our Sunday School lesson was teaching on wisdom and faith. James 1:5 says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,” so if you realize you are clear on your actions concerning this pandemic; ask God for wisdom in belief to receive righteous guidance. God will equip believers with wisdom to view these circumstances from His perspective, and at times reveals how life’s challenges fit into His plan. His plans are “Fail Proof!”
Pastor Henderson’s sermon on Sunday came from Psalms 42:2; subject, “God Is Alive!” Sometimes it is hard to see God through the layers of trials and fear before us. And it can cause us to ask “God where are You?” But we have to move by our Faith and not depend on our earthly sight, trust that even in our blindness God is working on our behalf.
