Pray for the victims of Hurricane Michael
Good Morning / Evening!
“So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27 NLT
When God looks at us He sees the resemblance of His Son, Jesus; so let us not do anything to stain the image and memory of what Jesus went through to give us the right to the tree of life. We have the right but it’s our choice to accept it. One thing we can expect to encounter in our journey with God is the trust test. How often do we say to God, “What is happening? I don’t understand.” We are not just to have faith and trust in God once in awhile or from time to time, but at all times. There will always be things we don’t understand, but we have to keep striving to do the will of God.
Continued prayers for the sick and shut-ins everywhere: May Hunt; Joel Hunt; Jerry Smith; Virginia Tucker; Minnie and McArthur Roberts; Mary Smith; Catherine Shepard; Elder Roy Murray; Doris Holifield; Rev. Neal Keeton; Dorothy Young; Terry Moncrief; Spencer Hunt; Stella Sharpe; Linda Parrott; Fannie Sharpe; Ethel Coleman; and all their caregivers. And special prayers of comfort and peace for the victims of Hurricane Michael.
On Sunday we surprised Pastor Henderson with an Appreciation moment filled with love and gifts! I think we really filled his heart with joy; we are steadily growing together in the strength of our God!
