Morton High School junior Zully Reyes Garcia has been selected to be a member of Dr. Carey Wright’s State Superintendent Advisory Council.
Garcia is one of 20 students chosen throughout the state from over 300 applicants.
The purpose of the Council is to hear directly from students, regarding all issues facing them. Garcia will act as a liaison between the Mississippi Department of Education and public school students throughout the state. “Morton High School is proud of Zully for this great opportunity,” MHS Principal Avery Nobels said.
