Scott Central Attendance Center celebrated Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on January 9 by honoring Scott County Sheriff’s Department Deputy and School Resource Officer Deputy Sammy Lovett for his continued service to the school and the local community.

Services for Ms. Juanita Mitchell were held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol. Burial was in the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery Rev. Guy McGarrity officiated.

Visitation was held 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

Second Annual Toy Drive underway

The Scott County Sheriff’s Department began accepting donations Monday in their second annualy Sheriff’s Toy Drive. There is a drop off box at the Scott County Sheriff’s Department in the lobby which is open to the public 24 hours a day. There will be a small drop box at Petals & More in Forest.
