Austin Parish Holden age 34, passed away Tuesday August 27, 2019 at Lackey Memorial Hospital. Visitation was held Saturday August 31, 2019 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 10:00 AM until 11:50 AM.


James G. Harris Jr.

Mr. James G. Harris Jr. age 59 passed away Sunday August 18, 2019 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. A private visitation was held Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. A private graveside service was held at Lorena Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS at 11:00 AM on August 21, 2019.



John Edward McCollum

A little tow-headed boy, John Edward McCollum, was born May 30, 1953 in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana to Douglas Edward McCollum and Mary Henrietta Roland McCollum. John could not pronounce his name, so he referred to himself as John Ebby Cobby.




Mr. Troy C. Smith

Mr. Troy Smith, age 76, a resident of Pulaski, MS passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation was held from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 10 a.m.-10:45 a.m.




Howard Calvin Hunt

Howard Calvin Hunt, 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Clinton Health Care in Clinton.  Visitation was 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Mary Ricks Thornton Cultural Center, the former First Presbyterian Church, in Kosciusko.  Funeral services were at 2 p.m.


Harriet “Tootsie” Burroughs Clark

Services for Mrs. Harriet “Tootsie” Burroughs Clark were held Friday, August 16, at 12 noon at Stephens Funeral Home in Union. Interment followed at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton.  Brother Thomas Fortenberry officiated. Visitation was from 10-12. Stephens Funeral Home of Union was in charge of arrangements.
