Vistin’: My husband and I along with our daughter Rosiland Mccoy of Atlanta, traveled to Gary Indiana to visit family. We stopped off in Sikeston, Missouri to eat at the famous Lambert’s Café, boy they can throw those rolls. We also stopped off in Arthur, Illinois. The Arthur area is home to the largest and oldest Amish community in Illinois, which was founded in the 1860’s.
Prayers And Concern For: All our family and friends near and far.
Sympathy to the families of Dion Ratliff.
On May 15, 2022 our morning message was brought by Rev. Marcus McDougle scripture reference Matthew 6:1-5 with the subject, Definition of Success.
Food For Thought: Because of our Creator’s love for us, hope arrived one night in a small bundle, in a lowly place a baby whose name was Immanuel, which in Hebrew means, “God is with us.” Yes, it was a simple birth, but it was also grace filled. It was a sacred night that would change the course of human history. Jesus brings us hope. Hope is found in the promises God has given us. No matter what trials, temptations or pain we may suffer, we can always hold onto the hope God extends to us.
