Fr. Adolfo’s homily on the Third Sunday of Easter referenced Luke 24:13-35. St. Michael Catholic Church parishioners were challenged to always remember that the Lord walks with us, and never leaves us. Life begins in confusion, is scattered with insights and revelations about what has just taken place and ends with the discovery that the Lord has been the one walking with us. Luke 24:13-35 opens scripture to us and helps us understand that we must undergo passion so we can enter glory.
Lynch Chapel United Methodist Church members were challenged during Sunday Services. Pastor Shirley Wilder’s theme was “How Are You Living Today?” Her Scripture reference was Psalms 116:1-4 and her sermon was well received by those in attendance.
