It was Homecoming last Friday night in Sebastopol and the Bobcats did not disappoint the alumni and other fans, defeating Pelahatchie 32-20. This week Sebastopol will be on the road to Noxapater where they hope to improve their 2-3 record against a 3-2 Tiger team that lost 14-12 to Eupora last week.
The Forest Bearcats, on the road only a short way up the road at Scott Central added another one to the win column, defeating the Rebels in a close 14-7 match up.
The Bearcats, 4-1, are at home Friday night where they will take on Mendenhall. The 3-2 Tigers lost a very close 27-26 game to Callaway last week.
Scott Central, looking for their first win this season, will be traveling Friday night to Puckett. The Wolves, 1-4, lost to Bogue Chitto 51-26 last week.
At home against Union last week, the Lake Hornets, 2-3 overall, lost to the Union Yellow Jackets 35-22. This week te Hornets are headed to neighboring Newton to face a 1-4 Tiger team that lost 46-16 to Leake County last week.
And, the Morton Panthers were shut out 36-0 on the road at Raleigh last week. This week the Panthers, 2-3, are celebrating Homecoming and hosting Richland with hopes of getting back in the win column against a 4-1 Ranger team that defeated Pisgah 35-6 last week.
Kick off is set for 7:00 p.m. Friday for all games.
