We join others across the state and nation in paying tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Hollis Watkins Muhammad, founder of Southern Echo, who passed September 20th at his Clinton home. “Brother Hollis” was part of the Civil Rights Movement during the1960s and worked with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).
