Good Morning/Evening!
“'Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised) Hebrews 10:23 Throughout the journey of life a gap will always exist between who we are and what God wants us to be. This is why God is patient with us and we need to be patient with ourselves. We are not to get discouraged or frustrated with our shortcomings. In such moments we simply receive grace and invite God’s Spirit to continue the transformation process in us. God is teaching us and shaping us to be good people, but the process will take a lifetime. (Dallas Willard)
On Sunday our day was filled with love from earth and heaven! Starting with the wake up touch from God; then the Word going forth through Pastor Henderson coming from II Cor. 4:1. And then at 3:00 our Family & Friends Celebration started. It was great, and we thank all the friends and new friends for sharing with us. There were many fantastic groups that lifted up spirit filled songs, from Harperville, Newton, Lena, Jackson, Tennessee/Alabama, to Hazelhurst! And a special thanks to our Pastor Henderson and Pastor P. J. Williams for sharing the M.C. position until Rev. Isaac Lindsey arrived, who did a great job!
Our prayers of intercession continues for Joel Hunt, James Rogers Nicks, Mary Denson, Charles Moncrief, Mae Derricks, Virginia Tucker, Juanita Banks, Mary Smith, Joe Townsend, Ethel Coleman, Linda Parrott, Richard Butler, Dessie Ree Evans, Addie Ree Knight, Phyliss Nicholson, , Ernestine Bobbitt, Oliver Holifield, Verbie Lyles, Pete Lay, Bobby Joe Harrison and all their caregivers.
Prayers of comfort and peace for the Nicks, Hughes, Croft, Snow, and Patrick families during their hour of mourning.
May God give you more and more grace and peace. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance; an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine.
