Hope all are well
Christmas Day is over and I hope and pray all are doing well.
This message was put on Facebook and I thought it was a great gift. “The greatest gift you can receive is that you are here to celebrate Christmas with your family.”
Have some family vacations to talk about, but I do not mention who or where they went until they return home. I have heard of people in the cities and here robbing houses when they read the obit column and find out when a funeral is scheduled and they go to the decedent’s homes and rob them while the family is at the service. So sad to see that happen to anyone. They have already lost a loved one and then their homes are robed while at their funeral service. In the city it had gotten to the place that someone stays at the house during the memorial service.
Make some holiday punch. It tastes good and is very refreshing. Recipe: 4 cups Hawaiian Punch, 2 cups pineapple juice, 2 cups cranberry juice and 2 cups ginger ale. Mix all ingredients together. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh orange slices and fresh cranberries if desired.
Sympathy to the Washington Family in the passing of Mrs. Beatrice Washington. Her memorial and interment service were last Wednesday at Galilee M. B. Church Cemetery. Evans Memorial Funeral Home was entrusted with her arrangements.
Sympathy to the Holmes Family in the passing of Thomas Holmes. His service is incomplete. Mapp Funeral Home was entrusted with her arrangements.
Care Facilities: Jerome Banks – Forest; Billy Frank Williams – Newton.
