A dangerous time
for law enforcement!
The National Fraternity Order of Police (FOP) has shared some harrowing news about what things are like for law enforcement officers these days. “Thus far there have been 101 police officers who’ve been shot, this year while on the job. FOP news reports that these numbers are an absolute stain on our society. When the vast majority of media elites decide it’s not worth covering, it speaks volumes as to where our society is. Americans deserve law and order and our police deserve support, not demonization!”
Seems like spring got lost before it got to us. I am afraid when the rains and cool weather leaves us, we will feel a quick heat wave. We have been truly blessed when tornadoes and straight line winds came not to have major loss of lives or property. The inconvenience of power outages is to be expected. We appreciate the power company’s linemen that get out and restore power. Their job is not an easy one and we do appreciate them!
Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries and Park Bureau has certified a new state record catch of blue catfish. “Eugene Crowley, from Brandon, is the lucky angler that caught the 131 pound catfish. It was caught on April 7, 2022 from the Miss. River near Natchez. He said it took him 45 minutes to catch the huge fish and ‘It truly is a catch of a lifetime!’ He caught it with a rod and reel and skipjack herring as bait. The previous record was a 95 pounder in 1997. Both were caught in the Ms. River near Natchez.”
Earl and Bubba were sitting in a boat fishing, chewing tobacco, drinking beer when Bubba suddenly says, “Think I’m gonna divorce my wife, she ain’t spoke to me in over two months!” Earl spits overboard, takes a long, slow sip of beer and says, “Better think it over, women like that are hard to find!”
All I need to know, I learned from the Easter Bunny. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Everyone needs a friend who is all ears. Some body parts should be floppy. All work and no play can make you a basket case. Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits. Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day and keep your paws off other people’s jelly beans.
“Cleveland Clinic Refuses A Child’s Kidney Transplant Because The Donor Dad Is Not Vaccinated. The clinic developed a new safety protocol last year that requires transplant patient’s to be fully vaccinated before going into surgery. This child was born with only one kidney and will soon encounter serious life threatening problems, if this procedure is not performed. His dad is opposed, for religious reasons, and the hospital is contradicting it’s self by requiring a live donor to be vaccinated, but not a recently deceased one. The parents will go to a different medical clinic and hope to receive services there.”
“500 Russian Soldiers, of the 3rd. Motorized Rifle Division, are in the hospital due to severe alcohol poisoning. The Russian Command attributes these cases to be called Non-Combat Losses.”
Fox News Anchor called Stephen Colbert an “Elitist-A” over gas prices. “Outspoken liberal comedian, Stephen Colbert, apparently thinks sky rocketing gas prices, that hurt Americans poor and middle class, is funny. Today the average price of gas in America hit and all-time record high, over $4.00 per gallon. Colbert said, ‘That stings, but a clean conscience is worth a Buck or two. I’m willing to pay $4.00 a gallon. Hell, I’ll pay $5.00 a gallon because I drive a Tesla.’ His net worth is over $75 Million Dollars!”(One more reason I won’t watch his late show!)
Farmers woes — “To fuel up a tractor in 2020 cost $230. TODAY cost $765. Then for a Tanker in 2020 cost $10,100. TODAY cost $33,750.
News on Sunday morning. — “Biden is opening Federal land for oil drilling.” What about the pipeline? It would, in my mind, open more jobs and bring oil in quicker. (Are you sweating whilst putting Petrol in your car, feeling sick while you pay for it? You got the carowner’sVirus!)
Imagine a Chick-fil-A, on a normal business day, and how smooth the operation is run. Then one day they decide it’s not running good and it’s time to make a change. SO, they hire a McDonalds manager to come over and run it like McDonalds. This is what is happening to our country!!
