The Norris Homemaker Volunteers are at it again. For over 10 years they have contributed homemade baby quilts to the Ronald McDonald House and Batson Hospital.
These ladies are on a mission to bring joy into the lives of families who have been touched by either or both of these institutions.
One of their members had a grandchild born and cared for in the Neonatal Unit at Batson and her family stayed in the Ronald McDonald House. When any parent gets to take their child home, they get a quilt when they leave the House. This is a precious reminder of the love and care provided to these families.
The Norris Homemaker Volunteers are busy all year making the quilts with their own time and resources. They have six members now who make quilts. Three of them are 90 years old. This year they contributed 104 quilts.
