Facts that are a reality
In the everyday context it has become common to hear bad news. There is one in particular related to the refusal of many people to be vaccinated to avoid major problems caused by being infected by COVID-19. Opinions are of a very varied nature, but everything indicates a misinformation originated in many falsehoods that are published in the social network. The advances that exist in medical science are unequivocal, and those who for political or religious reasons do not believe in the remarkable advance of vaccines, are very wrong. God inspires many scientists to search and find the appropriate medicines to control many diseases. Thanks to God the average life is every day longer for humanity. Vaccines to control the current epidemic are no exception.
At this time, a high percentage of those who died from the virus are people who refused to be vaccinated. Unfortunately for them there is no backward step, but for those who still refuse, there is a backward step, and they can still be protected in a high percentage with vaccination. Of course there is not yet something that is one hundred percent certain, but God has called us to love each other and thus continue with the mission that He gave to each one of us on this earth. I personally believe that it is the sovereignty of God and His right to do His will that made it possible for scientists, to get vaccines out in the short term. Denying this fact shows great pride in those who, despite being believers, do not trust the vaccine.
“Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly.” Proverbs 16:22 ESV This is applicable when hundreds of millions of people have benefited from the vaccine. Behind that benefit can only be our Lord, to believe otherwise is foolishness. “A worthless man plots evil, and his speech is like a scorching fire.” Proverbs 16:27 ESV and at this moment there are many who have created and continue to do evil with false news through the social network against vaccination. That right of which many take advantage, becomes debauchery or a very misinterpretation of what freedom and truth mean.
Our faith grows but accidents are not lacking in the long way. Generally those accidents happen when we distance ourselves from divine truth. We know that following Jesus means many moments of prayer and meditation. We realize that He was attacked from every point of view by the religious and political power of His time and that He was finally sentenced to be crucified. His opponents never believed that He would rise again and that He would ascend to heaven to be in glory with His Father. Our personal decisions as believers obviously bring consequences, and under this pandemic I believe the Lord is showing us a way by inspiring medical science. I believe that His message is one of love for ourselves and for others, and that by vaccinating us He brings relief to all of us. It is an undeniable reality.
May God bless you.
