Prayer: Continue prayer and support for our sick and shut-ins. Robert Matheny (brother of Peggy Lewis), Jeff Haslam and Tabitha Medders. It was such a blessing to our hearts to see Sis. Laverne Davis one of our faithfully members present Sunday. Continue to pray for her.
Food For Thought: Perhaps the absolute greatest gift one person can give to another doesn’t come in a box. It can’t be wrapped or presented formally, but instead it is the words spoken to God on behalf of someone else. The gift of prayer. When we pray for others, we ask God to intervene and to make Himself know to them. We can pray for God’s plan and purpose in their lives. We can ask God to bless them or protect them.
Prayer is not a spare wheel that you pull out when in trouble, But it is a steering wheel that directs the right path throughout.
