We enjoyed revival services held during Holy Week at Mt. Moriah M. B. Church and Mt. Olive M. B. Church. Mt. Moriah revival evangelist was Rev. Rochell Wright of Union Grove. He encouraged attendees to prepare for Easter through service to others. Choirs from Mt. Moriah and Union Grove provided beautiful worship music and songs. Mt. Moriah’s pastor, Rev. Ralph James welcomed all and initiated the praise worship.
Mt. Olive’s revival evangelist was Rev. Anthony Robinson of Newton’s St John M. B. Church. He was introduced by Mt. Olive’s pastor, Rev. Charles Bell. Youth leaders provided the invocation and served as ushers. Rev. Robinson referenced the importance of parents working with the officials in the church and schools. He also reminded us to value our youth and to remind them that they are “somebody.” His remarks were followed by beautiful music from the church choirs of St. John, New Mt. Calvary and Mt. Olive.
