Several local students honored at ECCC
The Haiti Mission team from Harperville Baptist Church will have a gigantic yard sale this upcoming Saturday in the parking lot of the Garden Patch. Hopefully, they will not get rained out this time. This will be their last fundraiser before their trip to Haiti on June 8-15, 2018. The team members are Ruth Gaddis, Cathy, Elijah and Justus Harvey, Jacob Lee, Tabi McDaniel, Amy and Mary Lawrence McKay, Mickenzie Myers, Brittney, Brooke, Jimmie Nell and Ronnie Rawson, Tori Sanders, Jason and Reese Tillman, Danny and Shannon Warren.
This will be the third missionary journey to Haiti for Harperville Baptist Church where they will continue to distribute Bibles, food, clothing, shoes and blankets. They have helped build two homes for local Haitian families, provided medical services, and conducted Bible studies and Vacation Bible School. Please remember each of these team members and pray for their safety as they proclaim the Gospel. Also, stop by the yard sale and buy something you just can’t live without. The proceeds will support the worthiest of causes.
Recent visitors of Irene Martin were Sherry Butler Young of Harperville, and her cousin, Cassandra Woodson of Birmingham.
