Women’s Ministry to host movie viewing
The Harperville Baptist Church Women’s Ministry will have a viewing of the movie, I Can Only Imagine in the Fellowship Hall on July 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. I Can Only Imagine is a 2018 American Christian drama that is based on the story behind the song of the same name, the best-selling Christian single of all time. The movie tells of the complex father-son relationship of the songwriter, Bart Millard, the impact of the Gospel on his life. Anyone interested in viewing the movie is cordially invited to attend.
Plans are underway for Vacation Bible School to be held at Harperville BC on July 27-29. The theme this year is Polar Blast and all children in the community are invited to attend.
All students planning to attend any school in the Scott County School District must register at their school on July 24th and 25th, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. All documentation requirements are listed on the school district website: www.scott.k12.ms.us.
The Scott Central Baseball team is hosting several fund-raising events. They will be having a car wash on July 21st at Shaw’s Northside Carwash from 9:00 -1:00. On Wednesday, July 25th, they will be selling chicken plates and a Co-ed Softball Tournament will be held on August 4th at Bo Clark Field.
