Report Cards come out Thursday

While not exactly sweater-wearing fall weather, we did get some cooler temps and really beautiful days to enjoy during fall break. School resumed this week and reports cards will be given out to parents during open house from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 18th.

The SC Rebels enjoyed an impressive district win against the Lake Hornets last Thursday by a score of 41-0. The October 19th game against the Pelahatchie Chiefs is the last regular season home game. It is also recognition night for the 2019 senior athletics, cheerleaders and band members. If you are interested in tailgating for this event, the cost is $20 and includes two admission tickets to the game. The deadline to sign up and pay to tailgate is Wednesday, October 17th, in the high school office. Setup (tents and grills) for the tailgate must be complete by 1:00 p.m. on game day.

The SC Rebel Pride Marching Band also had another excellent showing at the State Marching Evaluation at Neshoba Central High School in Philadelphia on Saturday.

The Third Annual Scott County School District Fall Festival will be held on Thursday, October 25th from 6:00-7:30 p/m at the Forest Coliseum and Harperville Baptist Church will host its annual Fall Festival at the church gymnasium on Wednesday, October 31th.
