Rebels, Hornets ready for Round Two
Congratulations to Coach Cooper and the SC Rebel Football team on their spectacular win in the first round of playoffs against Bruce by a score of 55-6. Scott Central will play in Round Two against South Delta at home on Friday, November 9. Congratulations also to the Lake Hornets on their first round playoff victory. They defeated East Union and will host Eupora on Friday night. Best of luck to both our Scott County teams!
On November 1, a celebration was hosted for Chryselynn Martin, a senior at Scott Central, who has signed to play softball with the Hinds Community College Eagles next year.
A Fall Fellowship will be held on Saturday, November 10th starting at 4:00 p.m. at the McDaniel’s Grain Bin. All church members are encouraged to attend. The fellowship will have games, a bonfire and hayride. All children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
Upcoming guest speakers at Harperville Baptist for November will be Kyle Wolfe on November 11th, Jason Tillman on November 18th and Michael Bradley on November 25th.
There will be a meeting this Wednesday night after prayer meeting for anyone interested in participating in a mission trip with Samaritan’s Purse to help Hurricane Michael victims.
