School will dismiss shortly after lunch Friday
Unless they are exempt for perfect attendance or A averages, students will be taking their exams this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday has been set aside for make-up tests and school will dismiss shortly after lunch is served. Students and teachers will enjoy a long two week break. Students will return for the first day of the spring semester on January 8th, 2019.
This Wednesday night, Harperville Baptist will host a meal for all children who regularly attend the Wednesday night gym activities, along with their families. There will be no Wednesday night activities for the remainder of December.
The children of Harperville Baptist put on an enchanting program during the morning service. There were angels, wise men, a mini sheep and shepherd, a Mary and Joseph, and an Innkeeper. The performance had stage props, a narrator, enthusiastic singers and scripture quotes by some very precious little people. It was evident that many hours of planning and practice went into the program. It was a blessing to all present. The program was followed by a church-wide potluck. We are truly blessed to be able to worship and fellowship with others and pay homage to the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
