Take a break from the hustle and bustle
What a nice surprise the snow was last week. It was perfect for making snowmen and fortunately, it did not lead to icy roads or extended power outages. The snow went as quickly as it came, but it was a snow day that we Mississippians can appreciate as it is such a rare treat.
The Harperville Baptist Church performed their annual Christmas program on Sunday morning followed by lunch on the grounds. We had a very good attendance at both. The ladies of Harperville BC will have an Ornament Swap on Thursday night in the Fellowship Hall. This is always a fun event for the ladies of our community. All are welcome to come, bring an ornament to “swap” and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the season, and have some fun girl time.
The Scott Central Band presented a Christmas concert on Monday, Dec. 11 and the Scott Central Choir presented a concert at Ephesus Baptist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 12th.
