The events of September 11, 2001 were honored and remembered at Scott Central last week. Many teachers presented information about the event to students during their classes. Alexis Guthrie played Taps on her trumpet over the intercom to commemorate the occasion and moments of silence were observed throughout the morning at the exact times of the four attacks.
Scott Central Homecoming Maids were chosen this week. Senior Maids are Aerrianna Hardaway, Tierra Lyle, Tabitha McDaniel and Kiara Reed. Junior Maids are Kevonnia Butler, Julie Gammage, Krisdeanna Leatherwood and Kadaisha Louis. Sophomore Maids are Taylor Black, Maysen Cockroft, Dashayla Earnest and Ashlyn Harrison.
