Marie Guzman, Karis Bobbitt, Tyler Vo, Eli Cooper, Taylor Black and Evan Risher were all inducted into the National Technical Honor Society last week.   Membership in NTHS is based on outstanding academic achievement for students enrolled at the Forest-Scott County Career and Technology Center.

Congratulations also to Eli Cooper on his First place finish in the Electrical competition at ECCC - Skills USA, as well as, Lexus Johnson and Aaliyah Spivey on placing in the Home Health Aide category at the 2020 HOSA District Competition.

The Basketball District Tournament will begin this week at Newton. On Thursday, February 13, the Lady Rebels will play Union at 7:00 p.m. and Philadelphia will play the winner of the boys SC-Lake game at 5:30 p.m.  On Friday, there will be consolation games at 4:00 and 5:30 p.m.  The Girls championship game will be played at 7:00 p.m. and the Boys championship game will be played at 8:30 p.m.  Good luck to our Rebel and Lady Rebel teams.

Valentine gifts will be accepted at Scott Central and should be delivered to the gym only from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14th.  Make sure the student’s name, grade and last period teacher are clearly written and attached to the gift. For safety reasons, balloons will not be allowed on the buses.
