Jamboree
Football season at Scott Central will kick off this Friday with a jamboree game between SC and Morton. Due to guidelines and safety protocols set by the Governor and MSHAA, attendance will be limited. Therefore, tickets will be pre-sold for $7 each on Thursday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Scott Central Attendance Center.
There will be no tickets sold at the gate. Both schools will allow football players, cheerleaders and band members to pre-purchase two tickets each before the public offering. Face masks are required to enter the game. Masks may be taken off or lowered if proper social distancing is followed. Masks will be required for walking to concession stand or restrooms. Children and students must be supervised. We are fortunate to be able to host this first game and thank everyone in advance for their understanding and cooperation in making this season a success for our students and community.
Mrs. Enid O’Mara, a retired, former elementary teacher at Scott Central, graciously donated several cases of water to the fifth grade. Although Mrs. O’Mara has been retired for several years, she still supports Scott Central and we love and appreciate her generosity.
