Church Anniversary is Fourth Sunday in Oct.
Third Sunday morning message was delivered by our pastor, Timothy Croff, from Isaiah 6th Chapter, verses 5 thru 8. Subject: “Lord Send Me.” Rev. Jimmy Dale White officiated Altar Prayer. Responsive Reading was done by Rev. Timothy Croff. Fourth Sunday’s message was from Joshua Chapter 1, the 8th verse. Subject: “Obedience is Better Than Sacrifice.” Altar Prayer was offered by Rev. George S. Dotson. Encouraging Words were given by Evangelist Wanda Mosley.
Thought for the Week…. “Jesus Will Never Leave Me Nor Forsake Me.” To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die. (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-2).
The footprints of faithful pilgrims inform, and enrich our lives, leaving a legacy of commitment to whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report (Phillipians 4:8). We are challenged to do the same. Let us do so with grace, striving to use our gift of time to honor God and uplift others. Then one day our lives will be counted and remembered as testimonies of love and service as we leave our footprints on the sands of time.
