Ready for Change?
“The prayer of a righteous man (that’s us) is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16) “The Lord…..hears the prayers of the righteous.” (Proverbs 15:29)
Who are righteous? We are! The moment you asked Jesus to save you, you became a child of God and righteous. You see, He died on the cross so that we would be righteous. It’s a free, beautiful gift from God, which now gives us access to God’s throne with our prayers!
Friends, prayer changes everything, no exceptions! Whatever needs we have, God is ready to meet them! When we seek Him, we will find Him. When we knock, He will answer. Yes, He will answer! He will not let us down nor abandon us! Our Heavenly Father hears every prayer that we pray!
Jesus said, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14: 13-14)
His Word says we can ask Him for anything! Nothing is too big or small for our Father. We are His children and He loves to bless us!
I can personally testify to answered prayer! Lately, I’ve had several prayers answered. Doubts and fear would attack me, but I kept confessing God’s Word and trusting! I didn’t have to pray harder or be a better person in order to get answers. I’ve learned there is power in prayer, I’ve learned the power of praying scriptures over my situation, I’ve learned the power of praying the blood of Jesus over my needs, and I’ve learned to pray with confidence (faith) knowing my faith will make my situation whole!
When churches, families, businesses, relationships are covered in prayer, blessings begin flowing and problems minimized. The devil is afraid of a praying Christian because he knows there is power involved in their prayers, which has greater power than him!
If you’re ready to see change in your life, change in your church, change in your relationships, change in your health, and change in your career/business, then begin to seek God in prayer with a thankful heart and don’t give up! Come before Him in confidence that He hears your prayers (the first time). If you will pray from your heart and believe that He will answer, change will come, I promise!
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us — whatever we ask — we know that we have what we asked of Him.” (1 John 5: 14-15)
Prayer is a beautiful and powerful conversation with God! Let’s begin talking with Him today. Remember, prayer is a dialogue between you and God, not a monologue of only you talking. Be encouraged to listen to His voice. He will answer!
