Most of us have said at some point in our lives, “I just don’t know how much more I can take.”
Is this you? Are you carrying your burdens/worries on your shoulders like an over-sized backpack? Have you exhausted your resources trying to fix your own problems? Do you need help? Feel you’re at the end of your rope? Do you feel you’ve been waiting on God to answer and you’re still waiting?
“I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:12)
Whatever we are praying and believing for, we must know that God will take care of us! He is our helper, our refuge. When we are facing personal trials/problems, we should choose to lean on our Father who will give us victory in our situations and keep us safe in the midst of our storms. God’s desire is for us to be dependent on Him, not independent children who make our own decisions away from His Word. Our spiritual wisdom doesn’t come from textbooks, but rather from God’s Word, which tells us that He supplies all our needs. That wisdom He so freely gives will lead and guide us to success, plus fill us with peace. Friends, we shouldn’t limit God on what He can do for us. All things are possible!
“Nothing is impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37)
“God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” Ephesians 3:20.
As you pray, trust His Word and promises that He will take care of you and answer your prayers. Even though you may feel your problem is overwhelming and you just can’t go on, I encourage you to trust Jesus. Don’t give up! He will not let you drown during the raging storms that have tried to discourage you. If you will trust Him, you will be rescued from the storm and kept safe!
“Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me,” declares the Lord. (Psalm 50:15) That’s His promise!
Choose to give thanks to your Heavenly Father, your helper and provider. Whatever you need, He will supply if you will trust Him. Yes, He truly answers prayer!
“I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and say to you, do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13)
Speak these verses out loud in faith!
Thank you Heavenly Father for being my “Helper.” Even though my problems look like mountains facing me, I choose to trust you knowing that you can and will remove those mountains/obstacles that are trying to cause fear and discouragement in my life. Because I trust and know Your Word, I will not only survive, but I’ll have victory in my situation! I give you thanks! Amen (so be it)!
