I would like to extend my apologies for not having a column for the last two weeks. My computer crashed and I could not use it. Last week I wrote the article on my tablet and for some reason or the other, I could not email the article. The server had died. Still cannot pull the article off my tablet. Will start with information from lst week.

This week’s news.
Glad to see Majorie Odom Washington home for a few days. Her daughter had brought her home for a few days while she was off work. Majorie had suffered a stroke while visiting with her daughter Marzella and her family in Houston. When she became able to travel she went to spend time with her other daughter Franzella in Memphis. Majorie now uses a walker to aid in her mobility. She still looks as good as ever with her bright smile and kind heart.
Sympathy for the Burks, Roberts, Stowers and Smith Families in the passing of Maggie “Hannah” Smith. She made her transition last Monday morning in the hospital after suffering a stroke. Maggie’s husband, Tommy preceded her in their transition. She is truly loved by her daughter Carrie and her grandchildren. Her arrangements are incomplete at my deadline. Mapp Funeral is entrusted with her arrangements.
Sympathy the McEntee Family in the passing of Ashley McEntee. Her services were last Monday at Christian Triumph Church. Her internment was in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery. Mapp Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
