Vote in person on
I am blessed to have been voted into office as an election commissioner for District 5. One thing I want everyone to do is to go out and cast your vote for the candidate of your choice. Please go to the polls and cast your vote on one of the machines.
There is so much hoopla about the mail in votes that could go wrong and your vote is not counted. Some details of mail in voting:
1) You have to get your ballot from the Circuit Clerk’s office, not one that is sent to you n the mail as some I have seen;
2) You have to have your ballot notarized to be counted;
3) You cannot get a mail in ballot unless you can give a legitimate reason for you not being able to go to the polls on November 3rd you cannot use Covid 19 as an excuse to get a mail in ballot;
4) Without the proper signatures in the correct spaces allowed your vote will not count.
Go out to vote.
