Some changes listed for Century Family Reunion
Midway M.B. Church Youth Revival will begin March 26-March 28, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. nightly. Monday night message will be delivered by Rev. Walter L. Johnson, III, he is a native of Canton, MS. He is a graduate of Canton High School and Alcorn State University with a degree in Biology. He is currently enrolled in the Wesley Biblical Seminary obtaining a Masters of Divinity degree.
Tuesday and Wednesday night message will be delivered by Rev. James C. Fuller of Jackson. Rev. Fuller a 19-year-old was called into the ministry 3 years ago. His plans upon graduation are to go to Jackson State University and major in music education. At the time Minister Griffin contacted him he was with a group of musicians performing in Italy. So now he is renowned worldwide. Come and hear this dynamic young speaker.
Sympathy for the Kincaid Odom Family in the passing of Jacky Kincaid. Jacky was in a house fire and passed a week later. His services were held at Mt. Zion M. B. Church. Rev. Jeffery Stingley delivered the eulogy. His interment was at Mt. Zion Church cemetery in Ludlow, MS.
The Christian Education Chairman Dr. Locord Wilson and the Vacation Bible School Director, Patty Odom are asking everyone who plan to attend Vacation Bible School to fill out a registration form. Supplies must be ordered.
The Century Family Reunion has had some changes in their venue. Friday’s registration and the meet and great with supper will be held at Midway Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Registration will start at 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Saturday Night events will be held at Reach One on One in Forest. Picnic will be Sunday at Roosevelt State Park 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., June 24, 2018. We are gearing up for great attendance. The Reunion is at home where all the people originated from that started the reunion in the Sixties.
