Sunday of Hope
Midway M. B. Church will Celebrate Sunday of Hope, St. Jude on April 22nd, during regular Service. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority will be hosting the program. Zeta Member at the church is Dr. Lorraine Dozier. Amicae members are Constance McClendon and Sylvia Kennedy.
The Scott County Chapter of Small Business and Landowners meets each Monday after the 4th Sunday at Little Rock M. B. Church at 6:00 p.m. promptly. Each interested party is encouraged to attend.
Sympathy to the Gilbert, Stowers and Earnest families in the passing of Katherine Gilbert Stowers. She was eulogized on last Saturday at Agape, where Elder Arther Kennedy is the pastor. Saturday was such a day of tornadoes and torrential rains, that the actual burial was held on Sunday Morning at Agape Cemetery in the Midway Community.
Congratulations to Jennie Clay on her trip to Las Vegas. She said she really had a good time.
Get Well wishes to Charles Bradford. He is in University Medical Center Hospital. Remember him and his wife and family in your prayers.
TKO’s Farming Cover Crop Field Day will be Tuesday, April 24th, 2019 located at 458 Kennedy Road, McCool, MS 39108. Attendees will see a demonstration of a cover crop being applied. (Native seed varieties).
Midway M. B. Church will participate in the Long Pilgrim District Four Night Revival. April 23rd -26th at Truelight M. B. Church starting at 7:30 p.m.
Midway M. B. Church Mission Program will be April 29th during regular service. Constance McClendon is the Mission President. Dr. Lorraine Dozier will be the Mistress of Ceremony.
