Date changed for Youth Feeding Program
Midway Park is open with tables and playground equipment for the children. More is needed in the construction and operations of the park. Fundraising will become an inevitable objective of the park. When asked to give, please give as generous as you can.
The Youth Feeding Program at Midway M. B. Church was changed to opening on June 25. Food will be served from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Any youth 18 and under is welcome to come and have a refreshing meal.
Sympathy to the Parker, Hughes and McClendon Families in the passing of Percy Parker. Services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday. Time and place will be announced later. Mapp Funeral Home is entrusted with his arrangements.
The Century Family Reunion is over until next year. The Century family Reunion next year will be held in Chicago, IL in 2019.

The Century Family Reunion elected new Executive officers at the Annual Business Meeting on last Saturday. These officers will serve the next 4 years. The new officers are: Demetria Morgan, President; Pheloundashea Morgan Copeland, Vice President; Elyse Clay, Secretary; and Milton McClendon, Treasurer.
