Fill up the bleachers and support the team

Congratulation to Scott Central Football team who won their game against Bruce on last Friday Night.  The score was 55-6 Midway is proud of all of its coaches especially of, Deacon Tevin Nickols and some players, Dejerrious Black and Zaharrie Kincaid. 

Scott Central Football team will be playing Rolling Fork High School this Friday Night at Scott Central. The game will start at 7:00 p.m. and the admission fee is $8.00.  Please support the team by filling up the bleachers, showing your support of Scott Central Football Team. 

The home of one of the late grandchildren (The old William Odom home) of Henry Odom  burned to the ground on last Monday. The home was across the road from the Midway Center. The house was owned by Andre Ealy.  

Sympathy to the Haralson Family in the passing of Henry Earl Haralson. He was eulogized on last Saturday at Union Grove M. B. Church.  Rev. Rochelle Wright delivered the eulogy. The program guide was Ms Laquandia Griffin. Prayer was offered by Josh Lyles.  Words of Comfort were delivered by his nephew, Elder Jerome Odom. Selections were rendered by Tavarious Hughes and Sommer Moore. His interment was in Little Rock M. B. Church Cemetery.  Mapp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sympathy is given to the Burks family in the passing of Hugh Burks. His services were held on last Sunday at Lone Pilgrim M. B. Church. Rev. Timothy Croft delivered the eulogy. Mrs. Victoria Hodge was mistress of ceremonies. Old Testament Scriptures were read by Rev. Willie Sherman. New Testament Scriptures were read by Rev. Willie Tucker.  Prayer was offered by Rev. J.B. Hodge.  Acknowledgements were read by Ms. Dessie Bradford. Musical selections were rendered by Hope Lucious and Angie Odom. His interment was in Lone Pilgrim M. B. Church Cemetery. Mapp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Sympathy to the Lindsay family in the passing of Gwendolyn Lindsay. She was eulogized on last Saturday at Concord M. B. Church.  Rev. Henry Patrick delivered the eulogy.  Mrs. Susie Boyd was Mistress of Ceremony. Her interment was Lovelady Cemetery. Evans Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
