Flooding takes toll on Mother’s Day travel
Climate change and weather is really taking its toll on us today. Being Mother’s Day, a well-traveled weekend was radically changed.
My granddaughter in Houston had so much flooding there that she canceled coming to Mississippi for the weekend. Dr. Locord and Thomas Wilson had planned to travel to Houston for the weekend and they canceled their trip because of the bad weather and flooding on the interstate. Flights were canceled because of the weather. Flooding was locally also. Tallabouge Creek came out of it’s banks, and traveling over the bridges on Kings Road was dangerous.
