Vote on Tuesday
Voting time is so very near. Next Monday both Democrat and Republicans will be picking up their respective Boxes. VOTING DAY IS NEXT TUESDAY. Everyone is asked to go out and vote.
There will be an Interest Meeting at Midway M. B. Church on Thursday at 6:30 pm (August 1). The discussion is what children want to play softball. There are no fees for the children or parents to pay. Midway Park is providing equipment. Everyone who is interested please come an attend.
The first scheduled game is August 17th at 4:30 at Little Rock M. B. Church game field.
Any church or community group interested in scheduling activities, please attend the meeting.
Janie McClendon is in the hospital in Morton. Please pray for her.
Dr. Lorraine Dozier’s grandson Joseph Page plays baseball with a team in Hattiesburg. His team made it to the state championship and won. Now they have advanced to the Nationals. Good luck Joseph (Joe) and I hope your team wins.
Dr. Locord Wilson and her girls had a beautiful mother and daughters Week-end in Indianapolis, Indiana. They enjoyed a Diana Ross Show, toured the home of Benjamin Harrison the 23rd President, the Pacers Athletic Center.
Pastor Rev. Wesley Griffin’s First Year Anniversary will be held August 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Midway M. B. Church. The colors are purple and black. Rev. Keith Berry will be the guest speaker.

Midway M. B. Church Annual Clean-Up Day is August 10 starting at 7:30 a.m. Sandra McClendon is in charge.
Midway M. B. Church Annual Revival will be held beginning August 18th. The speaker for the week will be Rev. Marvin Miles of Galilee M. B. Church, Carthage. Sunday’s colors are Turquoise and Black.
