Thank you to all those people who went out to vote for the candidate of their choice. Your ability to vote has been a long and painful process. (Please read up on indentured servants, women suffrage, black voting and now Hispanic voting) Please utilize this powerful ability to the fullness.
Thomas and Dr. Locord Wilson spent the weekend in Houston, celebrating their granddaughter Jayla Greer’s 14th birthday. Saturday was spent at Tamyra’s gymnastic meet and Saturday evening enjoying a meal with family. Sunday was spent at a party with her friends. It was a wonderful weekend. They had a safe flight there and back.
Sympathy to the Spivey Family in the passing of Mrs. Sammie Spivey. Her services were held last Saturday at Holy Hill Church in Morton. Her interment was at Union Baptist Cemetery. Mapp Funeral Home was entrusted with her arrangements.

This week revivals are: 1) Concord M. B. Church where Rev. Henry Patrick is the pastor. Rev. Sheldon Thomas, the pastor of Little Rock M. B. Church, will be the revival messenger; 2) Lone Pilgrim M. B. Church where Rev. Timothy Croft is the pastor. Rev Chris Thompson, the pastor of Pleasant Valley in Union will be the revival messenger.
Glad to see Ella Wee Odom home. She enlightened me that she has moved home to live and care for her mother Cora Ealy Odom. God always has a ram in the bush.
Maude Williams is in a care facility. Remember her in your prayers.
Willie Rogers Johnson is back home. Remember him in your prayers.
Christin Black has moved back to Mississippi. She now lives with her daughter Brandy Myers Lyles in Brandon. Remember her in your prayers.
