Walk-a-thon is October 26
Congratulations to Tom Wilson on celebrating his birthday on last October 2nd. The first part of his birthday, his wife Dr. Locord Wilson took him to McClains in Brandon. There he met up with his siblings, Linda Wilson Lewis, Bobbie Wilson Braddy, David Wilson and Walter Wilson, and his aunt, Delie Shepard. They had a delicious lunch. That evening after him teaching bible class his wife served refreshments to everyone in the fellowship hall. A variety of wings were served, along with fruit trays, vegetable trays, cheese and cracker trays, beautifully red and white decorated birthday cake, ice cream and red punch.
So sorry that Jackson State University lost to Gambling University on last Saturday. I will not reveal the scores against my alma mater.

The Walk-A-Thon will begin at 9:00 a.m. During the rest of the day there will be other activities at Midway Park at 5835 Midway Odom Road. Some of the activities include: Volleyball, cake walk, booths etc. More information next week.
