Everyone is invited to Thanksgiving Dinner
Midway Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be hosted by Midway M. B. Church, Midway Freewill Baptist and members of the community will share Thanksgiving Dinner on November 17 at 12:15 p.m. Everyone including any member of the community whether you are black or white is invited to attend.
Sympathy to the Ward and Lyles Family in the passing of Elton Ward of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is the son of Wesley “Wes” Ward and Mattie Helen Lyles Ward. He will be eulogized on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Holifield Funeral Home is entrusted with his arrangements.
Sympathy to the Clayton Family in the passing of Jason Clayton. His services were held last Saturday at Holifield Funeral Home Chapel. His interment was in the Clayton Family Cemetery near the Balucta Community. All arrangements were entrusted with Holifield Funeral Home.

Sympathy to the Pickering Family in the passing of Hazel Pickering. Her services were held last Saturday at Mt. Pisgah Church in Raleigh. Her interment was in the Gregory Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted with Mapp Funeral Home.
Ada Ruth Chisolm Owens husband Willie Lee Owens is in hospice. Remember her and her husband in your prayers.
Ada Ruth Chisolm Owens lost her younger brother George Chisolm last week. He resided in Muncie, Indiana. He is scheduled to be brought home to Reeves Funeral Home in Mt. Olive for his final arrangements. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery outside of Mt. Olive. His final resting place will be by his parents and Mr. A. L. and Mrs. D’Ella Barron.
Learning With a Snack is a tutoring program at the Midway Freewill Baptist Church. After School Feeding and Tutoring Program for ages 5-15, every Monday and Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. All students are welcome.
Bettye Banks White is still in St. Dominic Hospital. Remember her and her family in your prayers.
