Rally is January 26th
Midway M. B. Church Annual Sunday School Rally will be held January 26th starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to come and share in the Word, the food, the prizes and the fellowship. Next week we will share the different presenters.
There will be a benefit given in honor of our past First Lady, Sister Vernita Whittington on February 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Jones Chapel M. B. Church. Rev. Kelly Miller is the pastor.
The Sunday School Workshop workers surprised Dr. Locord Wilson with a beautiful gift and according to her a very sentimental card that had her picture on it. Her husband Thomas Wilson, her aunt Delie Shepard and two of her cousins, Dr. Lorraine Dozier and Jennie Clay took her to lunch at The Back Forty. The food was good as usual.
Sympathy to the White Family in the passing of Lurethia White. Her services were last Saturday at Walnut Grove. Arrangements were entrusted to Mapp Funeral Home.
Sympathy to the White Family in the passing of Charles White. His services were last Saturday at Little Rock M. B. Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Holifield Funeral Home.
Sympathy to the McNichol Family in the passing of Tharin McNichol. His services were last Monday at Springhill M. B. Church in Union. His interment was in the Veterans Cemetery in Newton. Arrangements were entrusted to Holifield Funeral Home.
Sympathy to the Harvey Family in the passing of Alberta Harvey. Her services were last Saturday at Pleasant Gift in Morton. Her interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Holifield Funeral Home.
Learning with a Snack is a tutoring program at the Midway Freewill Baptist Church. After School Feeding and Tutoring Program for ages 5 – 15, every Monday and Thursday of each week from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. All students are welcome
