Congratulations to: Rachel Revette, MHS student, on being featured in the Athletes of the Week for the week of March 12-19, reported in “The Clarion Ledger”. She drove in five RBIs across three games and also drew two walks in the process. Morton won two games that week.
To: Those cast members in the musical “Disney's The Little Mermaid” at ECCC, who would be of interest to Morton fans of drama are Caleb Williams-The Flounder and Emma Kate Williams-Windward, Sea Creatures-Aubrey and Harper Gibbs who were all excellent in their roles. They are the Great Grandchildren of James and Jimmy Thompson and the children of Jeremy and Alissa Latham Gibbs.

Travelin’, visitin’ and such: Alice Harris reports having a wonderful relaxing Annual Spring Break family time. She and her children and grands spent the week at The Inn at Roosevelt State Park. Days of fishing, feasting and board/card games in the evenings provided time for fellowship and sharing memories.
Chester, Shirley, Tommy and Stephanie Sawyer have returned from a nice week of Rest and Relaxing at their condos in Las Vegas. Chester and Shirley flew out and were joined by Tommy and Stephanie who drove and enjoyed/toured several of the many attractions on the drive.

Sunday-Rebecca Farris, Carla Gann and her three children, Angela Maily and her three children, Kathy Marler, Cris, Jhonna and Lori Nail, Sue Ellen Nutt Watson and her three children. Also spotted James, Jimmie and Melissa Thompson in support of their family members performing in the production.
