We Care Missions Food Distribution dates for November are Friday, November 9 and Friday, November 16 from 10 a.m.-12 noon at Fellowship Hall of Morton United Methodist Church, 29 Church Street.

There will be a $1 entrance fee and the opportunity to donate non-perishable foods for the Scott County Crisis Center (optional). This 2018 Creative Christmas will feature “Bee Hive/Honey Industry” by The Smith’s (Presbyterian minister and his wife). Items of art, crafts and food for your delight or for holiday gifts will be available for purchase. Travelin’, visitin’ and such: The Scott Regional Hospital, a division of Rush Health Systems celebrated the 25th Anniversary of service to the Morton area and far beyond by serving scores of supporters/former patients and visitors a delicious free meal on Monday, October 22nd. A sincere word of appreciation goes out to the entire staff for their dedication to excellent health services for their patients and the attending family members.
Savannah Sullivan her husband Corey and son Mason of Kentucky were in town for a visit with their Grands/Great Grands Donnie and Darlene Register and other family members. While here Savannah attended a Baby Shower given for her sister Raven in the Jackson area. Thankfully travel blessings were with them for the entire trip.
