A word of appreciation goes out to Morton Chamber of Commerce for the excellent “Career Women’s Day Luncheon” at the Activity Center in Farris Park. To Martha Rogers on her MC expertise, Jamie Ross and her committee for bringing featured speaker, Mandi Stanley to present a wonderful program on etiquette and public awareness and, as usual to Billy Meeks and his staff for the delicious meal. Not to be forgotten, the many beautifully decorated tables provided by local businesses and civic organizations provided an atmosphere of celebration and gave each attendee a delightful “Happy” gift to claim as their very own. Door prize distribution caused a buzz of anticipation to hear the name of a lucky lady present.
