Food For Thought: I suppose every family has little traditions that are handed down from one generation to the next. The family of God is no exception. Those spiritual values that have shaped our lives are cherished and retained for the benefit of our children.
Sometimes, like Grandma’s cookie cutter, they are temporarily forgotten, tossed aside in the clutter of daily living. But eventually a growing emptiness creates a hunger for the Christian principles that once guided us. As we obediently search out his will and obey it, we in turn are establishing a Christian tradition for our children.
