Food For Thought: Our hearts grieved for the loss of a great trailblazer in Congressman John Lewis (Good Trouble). We may have an inner circle of support, but we are also part of a larger community. Regardless of race, creed, or color, unity is the basic theme. We are part of a complex and loving system that binds us together. Unfortunately, many people practice a belief in separation or dis-unity without being aware of it. Goodwill is unity, ill will is separation, hope is unity, fear is separation. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” We should extend our hand in friendship or offer a hand of support to someone of a different background.
